Navigant Motor Group’s guiding philosophy, “You’ll Never Ride Alone,” pertains to our team members as much as it does to our riders and business partners. Because we have a number of stores in different markets and employ more than 300 team members, we offer opportunities for growth, mentorship, certified training programs and professional development that don’t exist in other motorcycle businesses. The Texas Harley-Davidson in Bedford, for example, averages $30,000 per year in training expenses for its service department team members. ​

Neil Noble President Navigant Motor Group

Neil Noble

President

Neil Noble, President of Navigant Motor Group (NMG), is a seasoned executive with a passion for motorcycles and a knack for strategic growth. Beginning his journey in the motorcycle business in February 2003, he honed his acumen in the sales department, quickly demonstrating the ability to drive sales and build a team culture. In 2012 he joined Adam Smith at Texas Harley-Davidson and Texoma Harley-Davidson as General Manager. Neil played a key role in the growth, acquisitions, and expansion of what would become the 8-location Calculated Risk Motorcycle Group eventually holding the title of Everyday Casual Hero and Partner. His leadership and strategic guidance were instrumental in the company’s exponential growth, eventually leading to its successful acquisition by NMG.

 

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Neil has diverse interests and talents. When he’s not at the helm of NMG, he loves exploring new places with his wife, Stacey, and immersing himself in the culinary arts. He’s also an enthusiast of jiu-jitsu, cars, and, unsurprisingly, motorcycles. Before his motorcycle business career, Neil had a unique academic journey showcasing his intellectual versatility. He studied Microbiology and Biochemistry at Eastern Michigan University while doing biological research as an undergraduate and later pursued and attained a Management MBA from the University of Kentucky. This blend of scientific inquiry and business acumen positions Neil uniquely in the industry, allowing him to blend strategic planning with operational excellence.

Shane Talbert

VP & Director of H-D Operations

Born and raised in the heart of Texas’ Hill Country, Shane Talbert developed a passion for all things powersports from an early age. His formative years were spent ranching and enjoying the thrill of dirt biking or operating any motor vehicle he could find, further cementing his love for the power sports industry. Shane attended college in San Marcos, Texas, before launching his professional journey in broadcast marketing. After several years in this field, he relocated to Austin, Texas with the intent to explore the real estate industry. However, his enduring love for powersports pulled him back when a visit to a local dealership reignited his passion.

 

His powersports career took off in the summer of 2003 when he joined Woods Fun Center, starting on the showroom floor. With the guidance of highly influential mentors within the America’s Powersports organization, he rapidly advanced into management roles. In 2016, after diligently working his way up to become a regional director and general manager for both import and Harley-Davidson stores, Shane was offered a new opportunity which took him to DFW to serve as General Manager at Texas Harley-Davidson. Soon after joining Texas Harley-Davidson and the Calculated Risk Motorcycle Group, Shane became a partner in Texas Harley-Davidson. He then earned the opportunity to direct the daily operations of the six Calculated Risk Harley-Davidson Dealerships. Today, he continues to lead these six stores, now serving as the Vice President and Director of H-D Operations for the Navigant Motor Group.

 

Beyond his professional life, Shane finds balance by spending quality time with his wife and two children. He continues to indulge in his love for powersports, often found riding one of his 100th Anniversary Springers. Additionally, he enjoys any opportunity to cast a fishing line along the Texas coast.
